DRep Pioneer Program

The DRep training program is designed to enable participants to learn the skills and knowledge they need to effectively participate as Delegate Representatives (DReps) in the governance structure proposed for Cardano.

This documentation serves as a comprehensive guide for DRep Pioneers, who will play a pivotal role as instructors in training individuals from the Cardano Community interested in becoming DReps.

Participation Requirements

To successfully complete this training, participants should:

  • Understand how the Cardano blockchain works.
  • Be familiar with Cardano wallets and how they work.

To participate in the training, participants should have the following software:

  • A desktop operating system capable of running nix (Linux, Apple macOS, or Microsoft Windows with the Windows Subsystem Linux (WSL) enabled).
  • Any of the following web browsers: Google Chrome, Brave, or Microsoft Edge.
  • The Lace wallet with an active address. Instructions on how to set up a Lace wallet can be found here.
This training is designed as a six-hour course that can be offered
online or in person. Instructors should consider additional time for
breaks and meals.
