MAV100 Organization and Education Initiative
We have built a Member Based Organization Model that uses tokens on the blockchain to represent membership. We can use the decentralized nature of the blockchain to create an active and transparent management tool for MBOs that own and manage community owned assets.
We are operating a variety of data services and will be maintaining a lot of equipment in data centers. We are going to colocate IMS cores, earth nodes, Decentralized data storage, with Cardano Blockchain SPOs at these data centers. These SPOs support the blockchain and this supports our business operations much like roads and electricity. Delegators will receive membership that is tied to MBO revenues. Gas/Governance tokens will be used to fuel education and expand the number of users staked in our chain.
We are going to be running businesses that require a mix of old and new skills. We are training kids how to install and maintain mobile cell networks. We are teaching them how sales works. We are teaching blockchain basics as well as civics lessons. We are transferring valuable skills and building the individuals required for a decentralized high trust society to operate.
SPOs are hosted on racks next to necessary components of our world mobile infrastructure in data centers. SPO delegators earn community MBO membership that is valued based on business revenue. The Ada is used to fund learn to earn programs to drive adoption of the chain and bring people into chain governance systems.
Our Cooperative organization model uses smart contract techniques to automate MBO management and make revenue distribution an individual decision for every member of the organization. Our token emission valuation algorithm and the membership return account provide and interface that allows any individual to make decisions about their level of membership.
Ada staked to the community stake pools by community members will be used to create a community level trustless collateralized lending system. Community members will be able to take loans using their Ada as collateral. We will teach them how successful people use collateral assets to build leverage positions.
MAV100 is integrating blockchain and decentralized forms of governance to to organize capital and support primary community educational functions.
We are taking essential elements of our society that have been heavily centralized like education and telecommunications and we are building a set of tools that allow a community to organize their capital and maintain these core societal functions at the community level.
The true value created by the Cardano Blockchain is brought by Trustless Contract resolution and the decentralized Ouroboros Consensus mechanism. Ada is a gas and governance token. We must stop letting the fiat printers set a value on this token and manipulating us through our own greed. We can solve historically difficult problems using the true power of this blockchain.
MAV100 Cooperative Spreadsheet Documentation
In this paper I will document the fields that you see in a Cooperative Accounting Spreadsheet.
In order to reduce the influence of currency manipulators we will never endorse open DEx or CEx listing for any of these tokens. These cooperatives also have built in mechanisms that make them extremely resistant to attacks from the groups that print off fiat currency. We will also be using a Decentralized ID system to maintain pseudo anonymity while protecting the cooperative from centralizing forces.
Creation of a heavily automated Trustless Cooperative will make it possible for every community to more efficiently raise and apply capital for purposes of creating a community owned organization that builds and maintains the community’s infrastructure. The purpose of this is to decentralize our society and communities and return local control of infrastructure to the community. This will allow the community to retain more of the wealth it produces and direct it to education efforts.
A Decentralized ID based on our KYC process that we use to gate the Membership Return Account. DID holders will retain pseudo-anonymity and we will protect their identity. This column is a list of DID’s of known Members.
This column holds active membership counts. The purple cell at the top is the sum of each of the green cells in the column. Each green cell refers to the total membership of the DID in the left adjacent column. The total active membership is all of the membership tokens that are distributed to members.
Inactive membership is all of the tokens that have not been distributed or have been returned through the membership return account. These memberships are Inactive and not in the system. When members contribute and build value for the cooperative then inactive membership is distributed to members and becomes a part of circulation. When members return memberships through the membership return account they go back to the inactive total.
The total number of tokens. Inactive Memberships + Total Active Memberships.
Every Cooperative will start with a number of tokens that cost 1 dollar. This is the Membership Value Buffer. This allows people to build the starting structures of the cooperative. After the number of tokens exceeds the Membership Value Buffer the Membership Emission Value will start to increase.
This column allows us to enter individual membership distributions in the green and totals these individual distributions into the purple cell at the top. There is an example of this on a spreadsheet below.
This column helps us calculate a proportional token distribution. If we are going to allocate a block of 100,000 memberships because we added $100,000 dollars in revenue. When the Cooperative makes a profit then profits go to 4 places:

MAV100 Global
For every dollar that goes to Reinvestment and to the Membership Return Account one dollar worth of membership is distributed to the Members based on current membership.
For every dollar that goes to MAV100 Global one dollar in MAV100 Global Membership is distributed to Members based on current cooperative membership.
Active Membership + Proportional Token Distribution + Individual Token Distribution. This is calculated in order to reflect the new values of a membership reconciliation. This allows you to enter individual distributions or proportional distributions.
Delta Active Membership * Delta Membership Emission Value. When there is going to be a distribution of new membership we use Delta minus Total Membership Value to determine the number of tokens to release.
Value = MAX(((Total Membership - Membership Value Buffer) / Inactive Membership), 1)
Example: Total Membership = 1,500,000
Membership Value Buffer = 500,000
These values are fixed at the start.
Now if we issue 200,000 tokens to members our active membership is 200,000 and inactive membership is 1,300,000.
Value = MAX(((1,500,000 - 500,000) / 1,300,000), 1)
1,000,000/1,300,000 is less than 1 so MAX = 1.
Each of those 200,000 tokens is emitted at a value of 1$
Now we issue 400,000 more tokens we are clearly going to exceed the buffer. The first 500,000 will be emitted at a value of 1$. But when we go from an active membership of 500,000 to 600,000 tokens will be emitted at a lower rate, or a higher value.
To find the value of this change we are going to put in a total membership of 500,000 by raising some members totals to an appropriate level and a proportional distribution of 100,000. At 500,000 memberships the total value is 500,000 and emission rate is 1$. When you add the next 100,000 tokens this brings the emission value to $1.11 and this brings the total membership value to 666,666.67.
What this creates is a system that not only increases the value membership is emitted at, it also accelerates as you have less membership available.

This will inure the cooperative from the efforts of outside fiat printers from buying control of the cooperative. The people who spend the time building the cooperative from the beginning will be situated well to maintain their place in the cooperative.
This mechanism also allows the cooperative to find a price equilibrium in a decentralized market based manner without being exposed to DEX’s and CEX’s where the membership token can be manipulated by the fiat currency manipulators. This in combination with the Membership Return Account allows the cooperative to maintain a decentralized market equilibrium price without outside market activity.
Same as Membership Emission Value with new distributions added. Reflects the Emission Value after a proposed token distribution.

Balance Sheet
The Balance sheet display will contain totals for the major categories on a balance sheet and will derive these values from entries on the ledger pages. The ratios on the right side will be used to direct funds within the company transparently and predictably. We are introducing smart contract mechanics into corporate management.
Membership Return Account
We are decentralizing the distribution of revenues by using the Membership Return account. As revenues are generated for the cooperative those revenues are first used to pay expenses and operating costs like in any business. When there is money left over and the company has positive cash flow this capital will be directed to different accounts by ratios discussed below. Some will go to reinvestment. Some will go to Cover School activities. Some will go to offer a return on investment by members. Most importantly the decision to return a membership and take profit is made at the individual level rather than by a centralized decision.
Members will be able to return their memberships to the cooperative inactive membership account and receive money back. You will have to have a registered DID with the cooperative to access this account. In the beginning this will be handled manually. Eventually we plan on having this be a smart contract transaction using a community portal.
The amount of money you receive from the membership return account will depend on two variables. One is the amount of money in the account and the other is a constant set by the DAO. The amount you receive for returning a membership to the account will be a simple Balance / Constant. Example:
Constant = 10000
Account balance = 10000$
You will receive 10000/10000 or 1$ when you return a membership. There will now be 9999$ in the Return Account.
Constant = 10000 Account Balance = 9999$
Thus the next token you return will be 9999/10000 or $0.9999
If you start at $10000 with a constant of 10000 and you return 100 memberships you will receive about $95 dollars and the Membership Return Account will end up at ~$9905.00.
If the account balance starts at $10000 with the same constant 10000 a member can return a membership for $1. If the Cooperative makes money and $10000 is put into the membership return account then the next token you return will be $20,000/10000 = 2$. There will be $19998 left in the account and you will get 1.9998 for the next token.
Each Membership Return Account will have a second attached account called the Membership Return Buffer Account. When the Cooperative makes a profit and money is sent to the Membership Return Account it will first go to the Membership Return Buffer Account. If there is money in the Buffer account some amount of that account will be periodically transferred to the main Return Account. All of this will be open source and transparent. There will be no midnight transfers and Ninja sales. The amount in the Membership Return Account will slowly increase until the buffer is empty.
MAV100 Global Cooperative
The MAV100 Global Cooperative is going to be the entity that starts and supports the activities for all community cooperatives. There are several mechanics that will be built into the MAV100 Global Cooperative that will balance the local coops and provide fallbacks in the system. Cooperatives will fail. People will fail. Governments will fail. Over a long enough timeline every system fails. In this model we directly address and incorporate this into the system and create a path to renewal.
Our first cooperative is in Leavenworth Washington. Our second cooperative is most likely starting in a town down the road called Cashmere. They are both roughly similar size and both communities are roughly organized around their local school districts. We have already started rolling in Leavenworth. We have kids out selling services and we have a community . But we are talking to people in Cashmere right now who are extremely motivated and they will not be far behind.
Our goal is to empower people to start up thousands of these cooperatives all over the world. Each of these cooperatives will create a mechanism for a community to organize itself and integrate education efforts with creation and management of critical infrastructure. So far we have met with massive enthusiasm and things are moving quickly. We are explicit in our mission: We are building a community cooperative and investing in the long term health and stability of our community. This is not about getting rich.
Everyone who has started a business knows that there is always enthusiasm at the start particularly if you have a good idea. But it is never universal and it does not last. There will be setbacks and failures. Cooperatives will be started by people and they will fail. Communities will lose population or core industries and they will fall into decline. There are rich communities and poor communities. Failure is a natural part of business. Right now due to the centralized and profit driven model that dominates telecommunications poor communities are massively underserved.
The MAV100 Global Cooperative is a cooperative of cooperatives. It is built with the same fundamental principles as the Community Cooperatives. As tokens are emitted the price goes up. As tokens are returned to the buyback account the emission price goes down. As revenues are generated a percentage of revenues flow into the buyback account. As the amount of money in the buyback account goes up the amount you get for returning a membership goes up. As people return memberships money leaves the account and the amount a member gets for returning a membership goes down.
When a Community Cooperative generates revenue a percentage that money goes up to the Global Cooperative. That money goes into the global cooperative and is handled the same way as a community cooperative. Some goes to reinvestment and some goes to membership return. The primary difference is the nature of the return accounts and the nature of the reinvestment. There are two return accounts and there are 3 parts of the reinvestment efforts.
MAV100 Global Membership Return Account
MAV100 Global will start with a MAV100 Membership return account. This will act exactly the same way the cooperative membership return account works. It will just apply to MAV100 Global tokens and access to this account will be limited to DID owners from all cooperatives. As cooperatives earn revenue some of their revenue will flow up into MAV100 global. When capital from a member cooperative flows into MAV100 global memberships are distributed to every member of that cooperative. Members of that cooperative will now have the same membership options as in their local cooperative in the MAV100 Global Cooperative. They can build their stake in the global cooperative and have greater participation in governance of the global entity or they can return their membership to this account.
MAV100 Global Cooperative Membership Return Account
The Second Global Membership return account will be the Global Cooperative account. Any member in any cooperative with any cooperative membership can return their membership to this account. This Account is meant to be a backstop. We will connect the unconnected. Right now people are unconnected because the centralized powers don’t make enough profit off of connecting them. In order for MAV100 to serve poor and underserved communities there will be some cooperatives that will struggle. There will be cooperatives that fail. This account provides a backstop and will subsidize our efforts in communities that are currently deemed marginal by the centralized corporations.

Financial Summary: Our financial model starts with delegation of Ada to community level SPO’s to fund local learn to earn programs. The Ada generated by this delegation pays for the rewards students earn by completing courses. Once the community has a core group of students and teachers who have achieved benchmarks tracked by Self Driven’s Learning Management System then the community unlocks collateralized loans that are taken against the ada Delegated to the community stake pool. These collateralized loans are intended to subsidize local investment particularly in economically challenged communities. This system will incentivize and directly integrate education into the business model of businesses in the community and it will create tighter social bonds across generations facilitating a transfer of skills and values required to maintain a free society and build decentralized businesses.
The MAV100 Value Proposition: We will fulfill the true purpose of blockchain technology which is to give us all control over our own prosperity.
We have built a template that creates a true use case for blockchain technology. We will use the blockchain to organize our businesses, educate our people, and create a decentralized model that will outcompete the centralized paradigm that currently exists. In order to seize control of the energy we have in our communities we must understand how the centralized powers abuse fiat systems and control centralized power structures. We must organize our communities around the concepts of citizenship and sovereignty.
When Catalyst delegates to a Community SPO it creates no sell pressure on Ada. The grant portion of this proposal is in the creation of stable coins the community will use to bootstrap specific infrastructure requirements. If the community fails to reach benchmarks and pay off the collateralized stable coin loans the ada is liquidated and returned to the lender which will be Catalyst. If the community succeeds and pays off the loan then the ada remains delegated to the community SPO to continue funding learn to earn programs. This is a truly decentralized model of business development that can be tracked at every level by on chain metrics. This model realizes and facilitates the true power of the blockchain to promote adoption.
The only way Decentralized Systems can defeat and replace Centralized systems is by understanding the core advantages decentralization offers and maximizing the leverage that gives us. Blockchain technology gives us the ability to disseminate more information and more skills to more people and allows them to make more informed and more valuable decisions. We must build tools that strengthen this core advantage and create a system where we collectively make better decisions.
MAV100 will leverage the blockchain to make our decentralized organizational model more efficient and more competitive than centralized organizational models.
MAV100 Community Business Plan.
MAV100 operates at 2 levels: Community and Global. At both levels our cooperatives are going to be organized as Decentralized Unincorporated Nonprofit Associations using the MAV100
MAV100 Global is a collection of tools and resources available to community MBOs and will provide the organization and capital required to bootstrap new community MBOs. MAV100 Global contains the algorithmically controlled accounts that subsidize economically challenged communities. MAV100 Global has mechanisms for detecting failure of community MBO’s with proactive and trustless tools for algorithmically controlled restructuring of these MBO’s that do not meet standards. MAV100 is building an MBO model that brings decentralization and trustlessness to business organization.
The expansion of decentralized models starts at the community level. Each community is going to be organized as an MBO that follows our Decentralized MBO Model.

Community Sign Up Phase: We gather a core group of students, teachers and business owners in a community. The community starts and operates a locally hosted SPO. This is tracked by on chain metrics provided by the Self Driven LMS. We develop a partnership with a local ISP and we begin to sell local internet service.
Phase success requirements:
- 20 students and community members sign up to the LMS
- 20 students and community members complete the first community starter template lessons and modules.
- 20 wallets created and delegated to the local SPO
Investment upon meeting success:
- Delegate 2 million Ada to Stake Pool
- Provide $5,000 in stables for collateralized lending.
Community Expansion and Hardware Education Phase: We buy enough hardware to set up several Mobile Cell radios/Air Nodes at schools, build a data center rack for decentralized data storage and compute, and to train a core group of telecommunication network and Hardware IT installers. We take out collateralized loans against the Ada delegated to the stake pool. The community cooperative aggressively sells internet service and begins to earn enough money to pay off the collateralized loans.
During this phase we emphasize community involvement and build a customer list. Partnerships with local ISP’s to sell internet service has several important benefits:
- It allows us to build community business relationships.
- It builds a low margin cost stream of revenue
- It builds a customer list of people that we can offer more involvement opportunities

- Make payments on the collateralized loans with revenue earned.
- X number of students pass training in Mobile Cell Network basics

Community Skeleton Network Phase: With a community team of trained installers, blockchain adopters, and sales associates with a customer list we purchase and install a skeleton network in a community.This network will cover most heavily populated spaces and the homes of current customers. During this phase we will work to grow our customer list and aggressively convert them to World Mobile cell services.
A key part of this phase is the timing of the conversion of internet customers to World Mobile cell service. There is a lot of overhead turning on a mobile cell network

Community Expansion and Sustainability Phase: The Community now has a core community owned business with visibility in the community and a skeleton network and expanding sales and membership drives. The community fully integrates education and core business activities. The company officially moves into profitability and sustainability. At this point the Cooperative will be bankable and will seek traditional business financing.
Phase Success Requirements: Profitable self running community MBO that operates a full suite of data and telecommunications services.
Investment on Success: None.
Community Sign Up Catalyst Expansion Phase: Now that the community is sustainable and profitable the community will seed another Community Catalyst Proposal and this community will carry out the exact same steps we carry out with this community.
Now this community will provide the stable coins for collateralized loans to the next community paired with treasury delegation.
